We’ll begin with introductions, a journey overview, and safety briefing.
2. Saigon Reborn: Untold Stories of District 4
District 4, once known for its notorious reputation for crimes and gangsters, has transformed into a modern and thriving urban district in Ho Chi Minh City. The district has a rich history dating back to the French colonial era, and it was once home to a number of infamous gangsters, including the “Godfather of Saigon.
Despite its dark past, District 4 is now a vibrant and exciting neighborhood with something for everyone. The district is home to a wide variety of businesses, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Visitors can enjoy the district’s lively street food scene, explore its intimate alleyways, and learn about its rich culture.
3. Unveiling District 10:
A True Local Immersion
Unlike the hustle and bustle of other districts, District 10 offers a slower pace, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant and authentic culture, that are unique to this area. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Umbrella Market, where we throw a little fruit party and taste exotic fruits like Rambutan, Burmese grapes, Mangosteen, and the king of fruits, Jackfruit.
The Flower Market is also a must-visit, but be prepared to learn the strict rules that tourists won’t know about. And if you’re interested in history, we’ll check out the Complex Apartments built in 1968, which stands as a reminder of the city’s past. Come and experience the urban vibrant city life through the eyes of the locals in District 10.
4. Chinatown Cho Lon
Our journey continues with exploring a deeper side of Chinatown Cho Lon. Nowhere to understand better Cho Lon then visit their central area located in District 5. Cho Lon is the largest Chinatown in Ho Chi Minh City, and it is home to a large Chinese community. The district is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, and it is filled with Chinese shops, restaurants, and temples. One of the best ways to experience Cho Lon is to wander through the streets and alleyways.
Visitors can take in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood, and they can sample the delicious Chinese food that Cho Lon has to offer. Cho Lon is also home to a number of interesting cultural attractions and ancient old Temples.
