According to Mr. Bay, he and his wife have been in the profession for more than 10 years. “My family gets up at 4 AM to prepare the steps, then quickly iron them and take advantage of the sun to dry them. The time it takes for the incense powder to dry is from 4 to 5 hours. During that time, the maker You have to turn the incense regularly so that it dries evenly and quickly,” Mr. Bay said.

To make an incense stick, you must first make the base of the incense stick, then dip the bottom part in red paint and then dry it in the sun, followed by grinding the powder, mixing the incense powder, seizing the incense, drying it, and sealing it in the air.

It is known that Mr. Bay’s family and many households in Le Minh Xuan incense village are supported by companies with machinery and raw materials for production. After that, the finished incense products will be bought back by the company. Wages are calculated per incense stick.
