Moreover, we are looking for the next piece of our team to position Jackfruit Cycling Guide with the motto “Play Hard, Work Smart”.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
As the city pioneer in providing city cycling experiences, the clients are excited about cycling on the busy streets of Saigon and authentic but down-to-earth local stories. We believe our Jackfruit Guides are the bridge to connect the clients to enjoy every minute on bikes.
A guide’s primary responsibility is leading tours on a structured route. You will provide an inclusive, positive, and safe environment for all guests. Additional duties include basic bike maintenance (with on the job training), tour set up, and clean up.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide Tours:
- Lead groups of riders on organized cycling tours, ensuring the safety of all participants at all times.
- Keep the group together and on schedule, making sure to stick to one of the predetermined routes.
- Provide entertaining and informative commentary about landmarks and points of interest along the route.
- Ensure that all riders understand and follow safety guidelines and regulations.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the tour in a calm and professional manner.
Customer Service:
- Check guests in and welcome them in a friendly manner.
- Provide clear instructions and training for the eBikes and the tour route.
- Respond to any questions or concerns from riders.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for guests.
Bike Maintenance:
- Maintain the eBikes and equipment, performing basic repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
- Fix minor issues that arise on the tour.
Additional Job Details:
- This role is a flexible, seasonal, and part-time job that is great for those looking for supplemental or intermittent work. Tours run for approximately 4.5 hours around the city district such as 4, 5, and 10. Tours will run regardless of weather unless there are safety concerns.
- Because this is a new business, we cannot guarantee that scheduled tours will have riders at this time. We hope you will be a key part of growing this business and attracting guests to fill every tour!
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements
- Over the age of 18
- Have the knowledge of the city of Saigon and passion to sharing it to the guests
- Ability to ride a bike up to 10 km
- Comfortable fixing flat tires/basic maintenance (training provided)
- A minimum of 2 rides per week commitment
- Fluent in English
